This post will help you to find & understand your purpose as a new Christian woman. To see God’s Plan & Path for your journey in faith.
How to find your purpose as a Christian woman can be a challenging task? It may seem like an impossible task at the beginning for some.
However, as you learn to listen to God and become more familiar with His word, He will reveal His plan for your life to you.
As well as being a daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend, you can still have another purpose as a Christian woman.

Where are you currently?
So at what point do you find yourself in your life right now?
Are you single, newly married, a mama, a grandmother?
There are many possibilities for where you find yourself at this point in your life, whether you are feeling overwhelmed, uninspired, taken for granted, underutilized, neglected, or rejected by life.
You still have choices, and you can change your direction, take control and find your authentic self with God’s help.
Firstly list down everything that you are unhappy with or that you would want to change going forward.
- In a job you dislike
- no relationships of value
- disfunctioning family
- no purpose to your day
- unfulfilling routine
- feeling of restlessness
- lonely
- depressed
- anxious
- stuck in a rut
What is your passion?
Once you have made your list, then you can start to think about what brings you joy. What do you love to do more than anything?
What are you better at more than anyone else? Nothing is too big or too small to list!
Finding your passion is not about what makes other people happy but about what makes your heart sing.
What gets you up in the morning, and what keeps you up at night. It is the thing that you do the best with the least amount of effort.
Could you be one of the below or something completely different?
- Simplify Organisation
- Housework Diva
- Amazing Mother
- Wonderful Cook
- Home Decorating Genius
- Budgeting Master
- Utube Whizz
- Writing Wonder
- Creative Crafter
- Green Fingered Designer
There are so many possibilities that you can choose from, but you will find where your true passion or talent lies as you evaluate yourself, I promise.
You can create a vision board that can help you narrow down what you enjoy or wish to achieve in your life. Read more here about Vision Boards.

How do you make your purpose shine?
Once you have found where your talent or gift lies, it is all about your action to implement these skills into your everyday life.
Lean into the word and ask God how He wants you to use these talents to honor Him and improve your own life. God gave you this gift for a reason and with a purpose in mind. Now you need to embrace it.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
Next, write down what your vision is for using this skill. Or better still, create a vision board to express how you see your new life with the goals you want to achieve.

How finding my purpose as a Christian woman has made all the difference to my life.
When I found my god-given purpose, things just seemed to make sense and fall into place.
It doesn’t mean that I don’t have bad days or tasks that I still struggle with, but I cope. I pushed forward and remembered that progress over perfection is the key to developing and moving forward.
While I know that I am good at many things I do, once I started following God’s plan for me by using my talents for His glory, it all made sense.
It might still not make sense to others yet, but I can see the bigger picture for my path and where I want to be in the next year and years to come.
I have a vision for what I want this blog to become and how I want to help new Christian women in the same position I was in by giving them the tools and resources to embrace their journey and find new joy in their lives and purpose.
I want them to see that with God, you can do amazing things, and beautiful things can happen too.

I am so excited to see where this new journey takes me. It is another leap of faith, but it is a leap that I know that He wants me to take. And while I don’t always feel qualified to talk about God. I know that He will equip me with whatever I need to Glorify His holy name.
